These are the most sought out features by schools:Interconnected Voice-over-IPInterconnected Voice-over-IP (VoIP) is a particularly cost effective method for providing phone service,using your Internet connection rather than individual phone lines. This includes local, long distance, call forwarding and direct inward dialing. And interconnected VoIP is eligible for Federal E-rate funding.Voice MailShoutPoint’s voice mail service allows school personnel to receive messages left by telephone callers, and includes message forwarding. ShoutPoint’s voice mail service is an integrated part of our VoIP offering, and is eligible for Federal E-rate funding.ADDITIONAL SERVICES THAT ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE SHOUTPOINT FOR SCHOOLS BUNDLE Broadcast MessagingBroadcast Messaging (provided by our strategic alliances for example Infinite Campus) allows a school to send phone messages to a large number of recipients, and is an increasingly important component for school systems to alert homes about security alerts, weather conditions, and other emergencies.
